Enjoy cleaning again!

Cleaning with essential oils is not only safer and cheaper than using chemical products. It’s also a lot more enjoyable!

I had my epiphany when I cleaned my bathroom with On Guard for the first time. I planned to do the usual walk around spraying the shower, tiles and glass. Then do a quick evac for a few minutes before returning with a cloth over my face to wipe everything down. I was halfway through spraying before I realised that not only was there no eye watering chemical smell making me hold my breath, but I was actually LOVING the smell!

The thing that really changed my feelings about cleaning though was a particular blend of oils that I added to my mop bucket one day. The smell was DIVINE!! My desire to mop every single day after that was actually hilarious. Cleaning floors was not one of my life goals lol. I promptly made up a bunch of ‘mop’ samples and shared them with all my friends. EVERYONE needs this!

Get the kids cleaning too

One of the best things about making your own natural cleaning products is that you know exactly what’s in them. No nasty smells, bleaches or chemicals to worry about. Not only is it safe to clean around your children without opening all the windows and keeping them away from the bottles, but you can actually let them get involved too. Kids love to do what we do. I feel happy knowing I can hand them a spray bottle and a cloth and let them help out around the house. (Pro tip: let them clean all the cupboard doors for you! They are at the perfect height and no-one wants that job!)
